Weekends of Wonderment are weekends dedicated to the facilitation and encouragement of all people - friends, neighbors, and strangers (aka future friends) - to come together for two days and help one another make things. The weekends (WoWs for short) are TIWWI's most prominent and on-going project, filled with everything from short videos to ship building. We hope you enjoy what we've made. Feel free to check out our past Weekend of Wonderment projects and click above to join our mailing list to discover how you can use TIWWI and these weekends to get your creative life back on track!

July 17th & 18th, 2010

MAKE SOMETHING WITH US!

Consider yourself invited to be a part of a ReVisions-themed Weekend of Wonderment. ReVisions are memory reenactment experiments that ask the creator to re-imagine a memory in a new, creative way as a method to preserve those moments dearest to us. Feel free to peruse over all the projects and creative experiments listed below. If you think you could be of some help or interested in getting involved with a particular project, contact that project leader directly and you're on your way!

IN 25 YEARS TIME CAPSULE by Pearl Wible
Write a letter to your future self, specifically the version of YOU that will exist in 2035, and read it on camera. Your letter video will then become part of a group time capsule that is doing its darndest to capture life on earth in 2010 for re-examination in 2035. Your video will live online this year at www.in25years.com and will, on New Year's Eve, be buried underground, where it will live for the next 25 years. We are having a burial party and a disinterment party in 2035. All are welcome.
